Transfering or Guest Referees
Transferring From Another State Referee Committee
Referees with a U.S. Soccer Federation license may easily transfer from state to state. The process to transfer your license to Montana is fairly easy but there are just a few steps to complete.
Before continuing, are you only in Montana temporarily or part-time? Do you plan on recertifying with another state but want to also referee in Montana? You might consider registering as a Guest Referee instead.
Go to Officials Management Systems (OMS).
Click on "Transfer Registration".
Click on "New Member" and create a profile. Be sure to use the same information that is in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center, including your email and birthday.
Pay the Transfer Fee which covers the cost of transferring your license and running our own background check.
5. Now go to the U.S. Soccer Learning Center and log in. Go to your profile in the upper right, update your personal information, and scroll down to the "Relationships" area. Click on "Manage Relationships" and add "Montana State Referee Committee".
6. Upon completion of the above steps, notify justin@mtsra.org and we can get your transfer finished up.
7. Be sure to register for Assignr as well where most of our assignors work from.
Guest REfereeing From Another State
Referees with a U.S. Soccer Federation license may officiate in any State, however, each State may have a different system in place to validate the license and may require additional safety measures such as background checks. Montana simply asks that you register as a Guest so assignors can validate your license.
Go to Officials Management Systems (OMS).
Click on "Guest Registration".
Be sure to use the same information that is in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center, including your email and birthday.
Once complete, assignors can verify your licenses from another state and add you to their assignment platform.
